I like the choreography to this song.

I wish Rihanna had made an official video to one of my favorite songs.

Bobby Seale, Black Panther Co-Founder, Life Story To Hit The Big Screen

I came across this today and it made me look more into Bobby Seale and the Black Panthers. And then of course, my Tumblr folks always have the best pictures, quotes etc. so I’ve been doing so major re-blogging today.

Black History Month is coming after all.  And MLK day is next week!

So get ready…

On August 22, 1989, Huey P. Newton was fatally shot on the 1400 block of 9th street in West Oakland by 24-year-old Black Guerilla Family member Tyrone Robinson. Robinson was convicted of the murder in August 1991 and sentenced to 32 years in prison for the crime.
Newton’s last words, as he stood facing his killer, were, “You can kill my body, but you can’t kill my soul. My soul will live forever!” He was then shot three times in the face by Robinson.

‎”Youths are passed through schools that don’t teach, then forced to search for jobs that don’t exist and finally left stranded in the street to stare at the glamorous lives advertised around them.” -Huey P Newton

Funny thing is, I still see this going on today.
